What bizarre behavior have you recently seen in India? | Munipalli akshay paul |
Jassi Agarwal, a 26-year-old woman from Noida, stole 24 laptops worth Rs. 10 lakhs from multiple PG houses and offices in Bengaluru.
Jassi is far from an ordinary thief.
She is a B.Tech. graduate. Reached Bengaluru for a job over a year ago.
Worked at a private bank and stayed at a PG house for a few days.
A destructive thought became a reality there.
When other PG members would leave their rooms to have food, Jassi would calmly sneak in and take their laptops and other valuables out.
Next, she would travel back home with stolen items to sell them at a black market.
Then, she would return to Bengaluru and live at another PG house to repeat the stealing process.
Jassi left her job a year ago to focus on stealing! It became her goal.
Shockingly, it seems, the complaint(s) of stolen laptops wasn’t taken seriously at first.
Eventually, the police took an action. They checked CCTV footage and other available pieces of evidence.
Jassi was finally arrested on March 26, 2024.
